According to a report out of Finland, the Buffalo Sabres have offered 2011 1st round pick (16th overall) Joel Armia a entry level contract. When i brought this to Buffalo News' Bucky Gleason's attention, he quickly confirmed the report via Twitter.
Finnish reporter covering SCF confirms story says Armia has been offered the entry-level deal and must respond by Friday.
However, if you expect him to be in a Sabres uniform this year, dont get your hopes up as Bucky shot that down quickly after.

This was expected, although some wait until off-season, most players overseas tend to take care of there military service before coming to play in the NHL.
