Sabres Offer Joel Armia Entry Level Contract

According to a report out of Finland, the Buffalo Sabres have offered 2011 1st round pick (16th overall) Joel Armia a entry level contract. When i brought this to Buffalo News' Bucky Gleason's attention, he quickly confirmed the report via Twitter.
Finnish reporter covering SCF confirms story says Armia has been offered the entry-level deal and must respond by Friday.
However, if you expect him to be in a Sabres uniform this year, dont get your hopes up as Bucky shot that down quickly after.
Finnish reporter says agent for Armia says he'll stay in Finland next year regardless to complete military service, plus develop game.
This was expected, although some wait until off-season, most players overseas tend to take care of there military service before coming to play in the NHL.
